Internet Finds and Praises Stranger From Viral TikTok Who Helped Woman Feel Confident
In a viral TikTok, a woman named Val Torrico details how one stranger helped boost her confidence while she was in the middle of a photo shoot in New York City. Internet sleuths wasted no time in identifying the stranger from the video, and fans cannot stop singing her praises.
In her video, Torrico explains that, though it was 90 degrees in New York City, she was wearing a jacket during the casual photo shoot because she is "very insecure about [her] upper arms," and thinks "they're big" and "do[esn]'t like them."
But, that all changed when a "beautiful goddess of a woman" approached Torrico and helped her feel confident in her own skin.
"I know you're not letting an insecurity take away an amazing photo opportunity," the woman said, according to Torrico. She then shows live video and photos of the stranger showing Torrico how to pose once she's taken off her jacket. "Look at her, oh my god she's beautiful," Torrico shouts in her TikTok.
In the footage from the shoot, Torrico's face noticeably lights up as the women behind the camera cheer her on. "Look at my face," she tells her viewers. "I'm like, 'Is this happening right now, do I have my jacket off, am I confident?'"
She then shows the audience the before and after photos—the photos with the jacket and the photos without. She says of the before photos: "What is that? I mean it's still good, but THIS!" She shows the after photo and the difference in confidence is obvious. "Whoever you are, I love you," she says.
@val_torrico Confidence makes a difference! Everyone has insecurities, but I’m glad she helped me embrace mine #fyp #loveyourself #foryou #girlssupportinggirls
