A TikTok video of an owner showing off the size of her St. Bernard has stunned viewers on social media. There's nothing small about this pup.

In last Sunday's clip, a dog owner, who is known on TikTok as @magmatthews_, wanted to show off her 3-month-old St. Bernard puppy. Why? Because, well, the pup is close to the weight of a young teenager.

She uses all her might to pick up the dog, who weighs a whopping 50 pounds. In comparison, a female St. Bernard at this age typically weighs between 37 and 48 pounds.

It's hard to believe this dog is only 3 months old. And it's just starting to grow. St. Bernards aren't fully grown until about 2 years old. It's safe to say this owner is going to have her hands full.

The best part about this video is that the not-so-small canine has no idea how big she is. Her face is filled with joy as the owner picks her up like a baby. Little does she know she won't get the baby treatment much longer at the rate she's growing.

The reaction to the TikTok clip has grown just as quickly as the pup. On Thursday, it had over 613,300 views, 134,400 likes and 649 comments. To say viewers are stunned would be an understatement.

"Omg when my saint was 12 weeks she was only about 25 pounds!" one viewer commented.

Others pointed out the positive side: "Fifty pounds of pure love."

Someone predicted: "With the size of her head and them paws, you're looking at 135lbs at least. She's beautiful."

But the owner is no stranger to hefty canines. She responded by saying she already has a 3-year-old male dog who is 185 pounds.

Another viewer added: "l hope you have a huge house."

Newsweek reached out to @magmatthews_ via TikTok for more information.

Despite their ginormous size, St. Bernards tend to be less active than other dogs this big, so they might not need as much space. Newsweek previously placed St. Bernards on a list of best dog breeds for apartment living.

But owners should still expect a giant fluff of this breed will take up a lot of room. St. Bernards can weigh anywhere between 120 and 200 pounds. Males will typically weigh more, ranging from 140 and up, while females will be between 120 and 140.
