Who Is Jackie Oshry? Instagram's Jackie O Problems and Sister Claudia Oshry Soffer, a.k.a. Girl With No Job, Delete Twitter Accounts Amid Controversy

The storm surrounding Instagram star Claudia Oshry Soffer, a.k.a. Girl With No Job, continues.

Oshry Soffer and her sister Jackie Oshry—who runs the Jackie O Problems Instagram account—appeared to delete their Twitter accounts Wednesday.

Oshry Soffer’s @girlwithnojob page and Soffer’s @JackieOProblems page now return a message that reads: “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!”

On Tuesday, The Daily Beast reported that Claudia, Jackie and their Insta-famous sisters Margo and Olivia are the daughters of anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller. The four sisters appeared to go to great lengths to conceal their familial connection to Geller, the website said.

BuzzFeed also uncovered several tweets posted by Oshry Soffer that could be deemed offensive to Muslims. She apologized in a teary Instagram video and insisted she was “not racist.”

By Wednesday, however, the spotlight also turned to Jackie Oshry, a.k.a. Jackie O Problems.

Oshry posted her own apology about for the “indefensible comments that I’ve said in the past.”

“That is not a reflection of who I am as a person today and I am truly sorry to everyone I’ve offended and let down,” Oshry wrote.

Oath, the media corporation formed by the merger between AOL and Yahoo, confirmed Wednesday it had canceled The Morning Breath, a streaming talk show hosted by Claudia and Jackie Oshry.

The Morning Breath, an Oath social-media show, is being canceled immediately and we have launched an internal investigation and will take other appropriate steps based on the results of the investigation,” Oath said in a statement.

The Instagram stars’ mother, Pamela Geller, is the president of an anti-Muslim organization Stop Islamization of America. She was banned from entering the U.K. in 2013 by the Home Office.

A government spokesperson deemed that her visit was "not conducive to the public good" and said, "We condemn all those whose behaviours and views run counter to our shared values and will not stand for extremism in any form."
