Officials did not immediately provide information on where exactly Morley was found or how he was located.
Morley was last seen on surveillance footage stealing a white 2008 Ford F-350 from a lot near Tiptonville, around two miles from the prison.
The vehicle was than spotted by Hornbeak Fire Department in western Tennessee Monday morning on surveillance footage. The fire department later reported that the truck had also been spotted in the nearby city of Troy.
The stolen vehicle was recovered Tuesday behind a shopping center in Marion, Illinois, 120 miles north of the prison.
A reward for information leading to the capture of Morley had reached $17,500 prior to his arrest.
Newsweek reached out to the TDOC and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) by email Tuesday for more information.
