Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley Fight Preview, Odds and Betting Tips

Jake Paul is being backed to extend his unbeaten streak to 4-0 as he takes on former UFC champion Tyron Woodley on Saturday.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has beaten AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson and Ben Askren in the early stages of his in-ring career.

Leading oddsmaker Betway has priced Paul at 1-2 favourite to beat Woodley and continue his ascendancy in the boxing world.

Meanwhile, Woodley, who has never boxed professionally and lost his past four mixed martial arts fights, is priced at 3-2 to inflict a first defeat on Paul.

A draw does not seem likely with Betway offering 18-1 on a stalemate in Ohio.

In his last fight, Paul made light work of former MMA star Askren with a first-round knockout in under two minutes.

The 24-year-old is priced at 5-1 to repeat that feat against a determined Woodley.

In stark contrast, Woodley is being tipped at 14-1 to end Paul's undefeated streak in the first round.

Paul is being fancied to win via KO, TKO or disqualification (8-13) with Woodley backed at 7-4.

There will be eight rounds at the 20,000-capacity Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena, but Betway do not expect the fight to go the distance.

There are extremely short odds of 1-13 for the fight to finish within eight rounds, while a bold punter could back the contest to go the distance at 11-2.

As usual with Paul fights, the lead-up has been filled with trash-talking between the two competitors.

Woodley has insisted Paul will 'get hurt in a way you'd never imagine', while the ex-Disney Channel actor is adamant he will 'embarrass' his opponent.

A Betway spokesperson said: "Jake Paul is on a mission to become respected in the boxing industry - and he is priced at 1-2 to beat Woodley in the latter's debut boxing match.

"Punters who are hoping Paul's undefeated run comes to an abrupt end could also back Woodley to finish the contest in the first round at 14-1."
