Jay Cutler 'Sucking' Sets Twitter Ablaze After Kristin Cavallari Reveals How Husband Unclogged Her Milk Ducts

Social media erupted after Kristin Cavallari revealed that her husband Jay Culter was able to unclog her milk ducts by sucking on them extremely hard.

Cavallari, who first came into the public eye through first-wave reality shows The Hills and Laguna Beach, addressed the matter on Thursday in a clip that dropped for her E! reality series Very Cavallari. The one-minute clip aimed to give fans a glimpse at what's to come during the rest of the Very Cavallari Season 2, including a revealing conversation Cavallari and Culter had with friends about the NFL alum's method for declogging her blocked milk ducts.

"I had, like, major clogged ducts," Cavallari, 32, said. "Jay had to get them out for me sucking harder than he's ever sucked."

All of their friends were shocked by Cavallari's story, but the reality star and businesswoman later revealed in a confessional interview that Culter's actions were worthwhile. "You know what? Saved my life," she said.

The reveal quickly became a topic of conversation amongst Twitter users who aimed to share their shock over Cutler's actions. Many users unaware of Culter's unclogging method tried to determine the reason behind why he was a trending topic on the digital platform, but others chose to instead mock the situation. Many of those who teased Culter took jabs at his skills as a professional athlete.

"I refuse to believe he sucked more than he did when he threw 5 interceptions against the 49ers in 2009," Parker Molloy, the editor-at-large for Media Matters for America (MMFA), tweeted. Robert Mays, a writer for Ringer, tweeted that Cutler "started 102 games for my team" and argued that the NFL alum "sucking harder" than before to unclog Cavallari's milk ducts "isn't true." A third person shared a GIF of Friends character Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) chugging a gallon of milk with the caption: "Actual footage of Jay Cutler."

"Narrator: The ducts were clogged, something had to be done. Jay Cutler knew he had to suck worse than his 5 INT game against the 49ers in 2009," another user jokingly tweeted. "Could he do it? If anyone was up to job it was him. Sucking, you see, was second nature for Jay."

When a milk duct is blocked, it's an indication that the breast milk is clogged inside of it. VeryWell Family claims symptoms of this condition can include breast engorgement, an abundance of breast milk supply, and a baby incorrectly latching onto their mother's breast. If left untreated, it can lead to mastitis—breast tissue inflammation—or even breast abscess—pus building up in the breast tissue.

"Feed baby often, or for moms who are pump-dependent, pump at regular intervals," Rebecca Kramer, RN, a nurse and lactation consultant advised nursing moms on The Bump. "Be in tune to your body. If you start to notice an area of the breast that feels full or uncomfortable, add in some massage while feeding or pumping right away."
