Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans ended up in the hospital after authorities received a call from the home she shares with husband David Eason regarding reports of an alleged assault on Saturday. North Carolina police said a female dialed 911 requesting an ambulance, which was later canceled, and Evans wound up heading to the hospital via private transportation on Saturday.

No police report was filed nor were any arrests made.

Some fans of the Teen Mom 2 star speculated the incident was a result of physical abuse by Eason, Evans's husband of one year. Since the early days of their relationship, which has been documented on the MTV reality show, fans have often accused Eason of being abusive toward Evans and her children.

However, reps for Evans denied the mother-of-three was hospitalized for any reason beyond an accident. Evans's team said she was hosting a bonfire at the couple's home, referred to as "The Land," and tripped and fell.

Evans and Eason's relationship has been muddled with controversies, many from gun scandals and salacious posts on social media. They also faced rocky moments even before they tied the knot in 2017.

The couple said "I do" during an outdoor wedding in Riegelwood, North Carolina, in September 2017. The day before Evans made the walk down the aisle, it was reported she nearly called off the wedding. Then a few months after their wedding, it was reported the duo were separated due to comments Evans made about her exes while appearing on MTV's The Ex Files.

Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 after posting homophobic tweets, even though the network was already in the middle of production of the latest season. "David Eason's personal comments do not reflect the views of MTV," the network said in a February statement. "With six weeks left of production on Teen Mom 2, effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him."

Eason stuck by her husband's side during the controversy, despite continuing to appear on the show without him.

The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported the newlyweds were offered a spot on WeTV's Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars in April, but Evans and Eason reportedly declined.

Evans announced she and Eason were working on their marriage and "building our relationship" in a Twitter post in July.

I am in a constant state of disbelief that MTV hasn’t fired Jenelle yet! https://t.co/j6Q3YBzMPk #JenelleEvans #TeenMom #TeenMom2 #TeenMomOG #FarrahAbraham
