Parents Share Toddler's Adorable Reaction to Trying Cotton Candy for First Time

A delightful video chronicling a toddler's first taste of cotton candy at a baseball stadium has been warming hearts online.

The uplifting clip was shared to TikTok by the young child's mother, Emma Cotton, who is the wife of Texas Rangers pitcher Jharel Cotton.

Emma was attending the annual Texas Rangers Family Day at Globe Life Field on Sunday, with the couple's 19-month-old daughter Zola, when the magical moment took place.

Sat down in an area just off to the side of the field, Emma decided to treat Zola to a little bit of cotton candy while filming her reaction to the sweet treat.

Handed a tuft of the pink substance by her mother in the video, the toddler initially thinks she is being given a fluffy toy and proceeds to cuddle it.

Amused by her daughter's already adorable reaction, Emma encourages Zola to "eat it."

The young girl is eventually coaxed into taking a small nibble.

Though hesitant at first, Zola's initially uncertainty transforms into a wide happy smile as the cotton candy's sweet taste hits home.

There is no stopping her from there, with the toddler continuing to carefully nibble away at the cotton candy while her mother watches on.

Captioned "Experiencing cotton candy for the first time," Emma's video has been viewed more than 3.9 million times since being uploaded to TikTok via the family's @meethecottons account and can be viewed here.

The enchanting clip has also been picked up by Jharel Cotton's team, the Texas Rangers, who shared the video with fans over Twitter.
