Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Ted Cruz Over Liking Porn Video on Twitter: He 'Masturbates to Pictures of Poor People Without Healthcare'

Jimmy Kimmel had a field day with the news that senator Ted Cruz, or a staffer who handles his social media, liked an explicit pornographic video on his Twitter account.

"The video is from a genre known as stepmom porn. Which is...well, he's a family values guy," the comedian joked on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live.

And it wasn't just Cruz Kimmel took aim at. He also got in a shot at President Donald Trump. "If only he'd done something this perverted during the campaign he might be president right now."

Kimmel said the embarrassing episode was "especially funny because Ted Cruz is the guy who famously supported a law banning sex toys."

How did the explicit Twitter message end up with a like from Cruz? Kimmel opined a few of his own theories.

"Number one, someone on his staff was browsing porn on Twitter and accidentally liked it. Number two, his Twitter account was hacked," said the late-night host.

Kimmel's theories only got more ostentatious. Perhaps he's a member of a Game of Thrones subreddit?

"Number three, Ted himself was looking at the porn, his wife Heidi walked in, and he accidentally hit the 'like' button when he was trying to get his pants zipped up," he quipped.

"Or number four, Ted lost the presidential election, he's been bullied by Trump, he didn't get a cabinet position, he's tired of being the uptight religious guy from Texas...he just said, 'Screw it. I watch porn in public now. This is who I am.'"

The official word is that it was a "mistake" by a staffer on his team, but Kimmel wasn't buying what Cruz was selling. Referring to Cruz calling the misdemeanor a "staffing issue," he joked: "Is this person you? Because 'staffing issue' sounds suspicious."

Kimmel then delivered one final shot at Cruz. "I don't think Ted Cruz looks at porn. Ted Cruz masturbates to pictures of poor people without healthcare."

Now that's a different kind of blow below the belt.
