Jose Mourinho looked to have his summer's transfer business all wrapped up following the world record move of Paul Pogba from Juventus to Manchester United at the start of August.

But as the window closes, there are still deals to be done and, potentially, bargains to be had.

Mourinho may be active, too, as the United manager reportedly has his eye on young Bordeaux striker Diego Rolan.

The 23-year-old has 24 goals in 89 appearances for the French club and, according to RMC Sport, the French website, Mourinho is now chasing his signature.

United had an interest in Brazilian forward Gabriel Barbosa, but the Olympic gold medal winner has since moved to Inter Milan.

A move for Rolan may make sense for Mourinho if Anthony Martial's struggles continue. The Frenchman has started each of United's three English Premier League games on the left side of the attack, but has failed so far to add to his 11 league goals from last season.

Of course, Mourinho also has Marcus Rashford to slot in for Martial, should he wish to change things up. The teenager struck the winning goal against Hull City on Saturday, following his breakthrough at the end of last season.

Mourinho isn't know for making knee-jerk moves on deadline day, but if he feels there is value in a move for Rolan then this may yet go ahead, adding to a clutch of impressive summer transfers for the Portuguese.
