Julie Andrews was all smiles as she made a public appearance for the first time in over seven months, as she was shopping in the Hamptons.
The actress gracefully stepped into a gold SUV, using a cane for support, with her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton. She sported a white blazer adorned with intricate floral patterns, paired with a cream blouse and black trousers, accentuated by stunning blue and gold earrings. You can see photos here.
Andrews' presence in the Hamptons comes as no shock, given her longstanding residency in Long Island, New York, where she relocated in the 2000s to be closer to her daughter.

The Sound of Music alum's most recent public outing was over a year ago, in March 2023, when she graced the red carpet for Carol Burnett's 90th birthday special. Their enduring friendship, spanning over six decades, makes this reunion no surprise.
"From day one, we both seem to know and understand where each one of us is coming from," the Mary Poppins star told People in April 2023. "Although we come from different countries, we recognized in each other things that were of mutual understanding. We both had tough beginnings and we both kind of bonded [for] that reason. It was instant the day we met. And from then on, it's been nothing but one hugely funny, joyous ride with a lot of understanding."
Her last sighting was in Long Island in September 2023. While she may not frequent the spotlight, her voice was used throughout the Bridgerton series, where she plays the narrator, Lady Whistledown.
Recently, fans of The Princess Diaries, in which Andrews portrays Queen Clarisse, have been buzzing with excitement after Anne Hathaway hinted to the New York Times this month that there's something in the works.
