Tier lists in fighting games are a fickle thing. They're completely subjective, but normally a general consensus behind them validates their existence. Updates and additional characters changes tier lists on a regular basis, but they are still sought after by those looking to dominate online or in tournaments.
Jump Force is the latest fighting game to receive its own tier lists. Released on February 15, the three-on-three anime fighting game is still in the early stages of any sort of competitive scene or online community, but there are some lists beginning to spring up.
Here's one from All Gamers, which has split the 40-character roster into five tiers.
S-Tier
Blackbeard, Boruto, Goku, Ichigo, Rukia, Yugi.
A-Tier
Asta, Cell, Dai, Dragon, Frieza, Gaara, Kenshin, Kenshiro, Luffy, Sabo, Sasuke, Vegeta.
B-Tier
Boa, Deku, Dio, Hisoka, Jotaro, Pegasus, Naruto, Kakashi, Killua, Trunks, Zoro.
C-Tier
Aizen, Gon, Kurapika, Ryo, Sanji, Toguro, Yusuke.
D-Tier
Kaguya, Piccolo, Renji.
Here's another from Ranked Boost, which goes a step further and adds a sixth tier in its ranking.

While both sites' criteria may be different there are some similarities that Jump Force fans looking for the "right" tier list should look at. Ichigo from the Bleach series is in the top tier of both lists, and is the talk of the Jump Force subreddit.
Piccolo, Kaguya and Renji, however, have the distinction of being on both sites' bottom tiers.
On the other hand, Blackbeard from One Piece is placed on drastically different tiers on these lists. For All Gamers, Blackbeard is in the top tier, while Ranked Boost has Marshall D Teach in its C Tier. This goes to show Jump Force players that the concept of tiers is subjective and in the case of this title, it's a bit too early to tell how good a certain character is. Unless it's Ichigo, choose him.
