Kanye West Apologizes to Kim Kardashian in Viral Instagram Post

On February 15th, Kanye West took to social media to publicly apologize to his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. The post came after a whirlwind of photos, news articles, and text messages with capitalized letters attacking Kardashian and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

In the viral picture posted to Instagram —which now has over 2.4 million likes — West reflected on his past posts that are now deleted. West typically writes in uppercase letters, but now understands that it could come off as him screaming at someone.

"I'm working on my communication. I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me," he wrote. "I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I'm still learning in real time. I don't have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener."

In his previous posts, the 22-time-Grammy nominated artist exposed private text messages between Kardashian and himself. He also revealed that he has faith they will get back together.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also feared for Davidson, as seen in one of the leaked texts posted to Instagram. Kardashian wrote: "U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault." West also posted offensive terms that have been allegedly directed towards Davidson.

For Valentine's Day, West sent Kardashian a truck filled with roses with "my vision is krystal klear" written on the vehicle. West's post about the flowers came quickly after the news of his breakup with actress and model Julia Fox.

Fans were divided in the comment section of his Instagram post, as some were hesitant to believe if West really meant the apology. Others, however, gave him the benefit of the doubt.

"We love to see ye better himself," @newchxppa wrote.

"Damn, this is just different, we appreciate you and support you," @callmehockad3 said.

"It didn't come off as harassment. It IS harassment. It's sickening. You're giving off that 'if I can't have her, no one will' vibe. You're terrifying, my dude," @jess.kelly.21 added.

@1jediwarrior wasn't buying it saying, "Seems like he apologizes to get sympathy for his actions all the time just to turn around and do the same things."

"Dude...you've been emotionally abusing and embarrassing the mother of your children AND your kids all over the internet," wrote @jxymje. "You can't do a 180 like that and expect people to believe you."
