Kellyanne Conway Once Threatened to Abort Feminists 'With a Gun' in Resurfaced 2007 Video

After Kellyanne Conway questioned why abortion rights are considered "women's issues" on Fox News Tuesday, an old video of the White House counselor sarcastically threatening to "perform" abortions on feminists "with a gun" from 2007 resurfaced online.

During an appearance on Monday's Outnumbered Overtime, host Harris Faulkner and Conway engaged in a discussion on recent remarks made by embattled Governor Ralph Northam (D -Va.) on late-term abortions last week following new legislation proposed in his state which would loosen restrictions on third-trimester procedures.

Conway began the chat by falsely claiming that Northam — who has since been plagued with controversy and calls for his resignation over a racist 1984 yearbook — had advocated for "infanticide."

"This same governor earlier this week said when an infant, used the word infant... when the infant is delivered, that's a baby, they keep them comfortable and then have the physician and the mother discuss what's next," she said. "We are not a country that is going to allow illegal infanticides as long as Donald Trump is the President of the United States and very few people picked up on that."

Later in the interview, Conway questioned why "abortions" were labeled "women's issues." "I'm sorry... Why do we always have to hear that such-and-such politician is bad or good on quote 'women's issues?' Don't they really mean abortion? Because I've been in politics for 30 years," the White House senior adviser said.

In the wake of those remarks, Mediaite resurfaced a College Republican National Committee speech made by Conway in 2007, originally captured by C-SPAN, in which she sarcastically threatened to "abort" feminists "with a gun."

After a student in the audience asked her for advice on how to combat "radical feminists" on campus, Conway responded: "Those gender studies feminists are so entrenched with abortions — I mean it really is a religion to them, even if you're not talking about it, they always are — you have to recognize Roe Vs. Wade is 34 years old... [The women] who talk about it are physiologically incapable of bearing children… so the people who care about it are no longer in the affected class."

Conway then goes on to attack pro-choice activists with a bizarre joke: "I always love to say to those gender studies people," she said. "If you say 'abortion' or 'stem cells' or 'guns' one more time, I'm going to perform one of those on you with a gun, because you, by implication, are suggesting that women can't do the math."
