Who Is Rebecca Broxterman? Kevin Hart, Two More Injured in Serious Car Crash

Comedian Kevin Hart and two others were involved in a serious car crash in the early hours of Sunday morning (September 1) in Malibu, California.

Hart's 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, which was being driven by a man named Jared Black, veered off the road at around 00:45 a.m. as it turned from Cold Canyon Road to Mulholland Drive, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Black reportedly lost control of the car and it plummeted down an embankment.

Hart and Black sustained "major back injuries," according to California Highway Patrol.

The other passenger in the car was a woman named Rebecca Broxterman, who, according to her Instagram page, is Hart's wife Eniko Hart's personal trainer.

While Hart and Black were transferred to hospital for treatment, Broxterman told police she was in pain but would seek out her "own aid," reports CBS. Her injuries were listed as "minor" in a police report.

Broxterman's fitness-focused Instagram account has over 80,000 followers. She has also appeared several times on Eniko Hart's Instagram page, helping Hart's wife get into shape after the birth of their first child, Kenzo, in November 2017.

Broxterman appears to be in a relationship with Black, who was driving the car, according to Heavy.

Black's father told CBS that his son would need to undergo back surgery for his injuries.

Hart, 40, meanwhile, was initially able to leave the site of the car accident and return home. He was later taken to hospital.
