KFC Is Looking for a Professional 'Finger Licker' to Feature in Its Next Campaign

KFC is looking to hire a "finger lickin'" model to feature on billboards and in restaurants across the U.K. and Ireland.

On Friday, KFC tweeted: "Have you ever caught yourself licking your fingers and thought to yourself 'I'd look decent doing that on a billboard'? Well friend, have we got a job opportunity for you. Tweet us with #kfcfryerme one good reason why we should hire you to be our next finger lickin' model!"

In a graphic attached to the tweet, KFC said: "There's room in the coop... we're searching for KFC's biggest fan to be the face of our next campaign and finger lick their way to fame.

"KFC [is] on the hunt for a professional finger licker! Yes – one clucky fan will get the chance to tuck into some of Kentucky's finest, winging their way to stardom as the face of the chicken legend's latest campaign. The winning KFC connoisseur will take part in an exclusive photoshoot showcasing their finest finger lickin' skills."

To enter, U.K.- and Ireland-based KFC fans have to tweet, in no more than 280 characters, a reason why they should be chosen for the one-day "finger lickin-ternship."

In a follow-up tweet, KFC asked their Twitter followers: "For the love of God; please keep it PG."

Fans have been tweeting original submissions, such as Twitter user @chloesimonxo who shared a photo of a couple dressed in KFC aprons and said: "I spent all day making these. I still have them available upon request. The theme was: dress as your favorite thing. Says it all."

The winner of the KFC Fryer Me competition will win a one-day experience at KFC's Innovation Kitchen followed by a photoshoot in a nearby KFC restaurant. An image from the shoot will then be displayed in the winner's hometown and at least one KFC restaurant, including the restaurant in their area.

The KFC fan who best proves their finger-licking abilities will not only have their face appear on a billboard, but they will also be awarded £150, which is approximately $190.

The competition closes on March 8 and the winner will be notified within five days, so it shouldn't be too long until one lucky KFC fan will see themselves as the face of their favorite fast-food chain's latest campaign.
