Kim Kardashian Channels Her Inner Carole Baskin With 'Tiger King'-Inspired Family Costume, Minus Kanye West

Kim Kardashian West brought out her inner Carole Baskin for Halloween 2020.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star kicked off Halloween celebrations early and shared some photos of herself all dressed up as the Big Cat Rescue owner on Friday. Kardashian West wasn't alone in the photos, of course—her close friend Jonathan Cheban embodied the Tiger King himself, Joe Exotic. Meanwhile, the reality star's four children—7-year-old North, 4-year-old Saint, 2-year-old Chicago and 17-month-old Psalm—were all decked out in tiger costumes with proper orange-and-black striped face paint.

"Carole Baskin, Joe Exotic and our tigers #Halloween2020," Kardashian West captioned the photo.

Missing in action was Kardashian West's husband, Kanye West.

Kardashian West is likely to be one of the hundreds of people who will dress up as Baskin during the Halloween weekend, whether they're celebrating the holiday at home or at socially distanced events outdoors. Baskin, an animal rights activist, was one of the folks followed in Netflix's Tiger King docuseries, which debuted in March. Throughout the series—watched by more than 64 million households by the time of its final episode in April, according to a Variety report—Baskin was often filmed wearing a floral headband and blouses featuring leopard and tiger print.

More than likely, the getup is just one of the many that Kardashian West may be rocking during the family's Halloween celebrations this year. The Kardashian-Jenner family has fostered quite a reputation for going all out for the holiday. Kardashian West and her siblings are typically photographed in multiple costumes each year at Halloween parties.

Back in 2019, a blonde Kardashian West, dressed up in a figure-fitting pink dress and pink sunglasses, conjured Elle Woods—Reese Witherspoon's character from the 2001 blockbuster Legally Blonde. She also recreated Elle's famous Harvard Admission's video, appearing in a pool wearing an exact copy of the hot pink and sequined bikini Elle wears in her admissions video in the movie.

For her second costume of the 2019 season, Kardashian West and her children dressed up as characters from the classic cartoon The Flintstones. Kardashian West wore a Betty Rubble costume while her baby boy Psalm was dressed as Bamm-Bamm. North and Saint posed as Wilma and Fred Flinstone, while their sister Chicago was decked out in a red wig and green dress just like Pebbles. Meanwhile, West appeared as Dino, the Flintstone's dinosaur pet.

As cute as the family's costumes turned out, Kardashian West didn't pull it off without a few complications.

"This family pic was such a challenge because Chicago was so scared of Dino! LOL We tried to explain and show her that it was just daddy but she didn't get the concept yet! So shout out to the photographer for editing her in & making our family Flintstones dreams come true!" she wrote on Instagram at the time.
