What Was Kim Porter's Cause of Death? What The Autopsy Said About Diddy's Ex

Kim Porter's autopsy revealed little about her cause of death. Porter, the former girlfriend of music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California home on Thursday. The model and actress was 47 years old.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner released a statement revealing more tests would need to be conducted to fully determine what killed Porter. "On November 16, an autopsy was performed on Porter. The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests. Porter's body has since been released from our facility," the Monday statement read.

Emergency operators responded to calls regarding a cardiac arrest on Thursday. Los Angeles County Sherriff's Office confirmed they found a female unresponsive at the residence upon their arrival.

Porter's body was reportedly transported to Georgia, according to the death certificate obtained and released by The Blast on Monday. She is expected to be buried in her hometown of Columbus.

Porter was the mother to three of Combs's children, including their 20-year-old son, Christian, and 11-year-old twins, D'Lila Star and Jessie James. Her oldest son, Quincy, 27, was from her previous marriage to producer Al B. Sure!

Porter and Combs dated on-and-off for nearly a decade, starting in the 1990s. Although they officially split in 2007, the pair remained close friends over the years and successfully co-parented their children.

Combs held a private memorial for Porter at his Bel-Air estate on Sunday after breaking his silence over her death. "For the last three days I've been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven't. I don't know what I'm going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I'm going to pay tribute to you, I'm going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship," Diddy wrote on Instagram.
