Kristen Stewart 'Talks' To Ghosts: 8 Celebs Who Claim They Had Paranormal Experiences

Twilight alum Kristen Stewart appears on the cover of Vanity Fair for their September issue to talk the Charlie's Angels remake, where she plays, but she also revealed a lesser-known fact about herself: She talks to ghosts.

The ghostly topic came up when talking about the 2016 paramomornal movie Personal Shopper. In the film, she plays a medium and personal shopper in search for her dead twin brother's spirit. (She also spent a lot of time with somewhat "undead" vampires in her role for the Twilight series).

"I talk to them," Stewart, 29, answered when asked if she believed in ghosts. "If I'm in a weird, small town, making a movie, and I'm in a strange apartment, I will literally be like, 'No, please, I cannot deal. Anyone else, but it cannot be me.' Who knows what ghosts are, but there is an energy that I'm really sensitive to. Not just with ghosts, but with people. People stain rooms all the time."

Stewart is certainly not the first celebrity to describe encounters with the supernatural, or ghosts specifically.

Matthew McConaughey

The actor had a similar experience while working on a movie that was about a ghost. While doing press for his 2009 movie Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, McConaughey shared that his Hollywood home was haunted by a spirit named Madame Blu.

Kendall Jenner

In October 2018, the Victoria's Secret model revealed in a Vogue video, "I do believe in ghosts. I don't know if I've ever seen one, but I've experienced some pretty ghost-y situations."

Gigi Hadid

Jenner's best friend, Gigi Hadid said she has had similar experiences. In that same video, she said, "When we were kids, we lived in this really old house, and I was given the attic as my room. We used to hear this weird sound in the closet, and then we asked my dad, and he said this old lady used to live in the house." Instead of getting freaked out, the Hadid family said made friends with the spirit: "We convinced ourselves, and we would talk to her. We'd be like, 'Girl, we'll bring you some tea.'"

Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn

While appearing on Chatty Man in 2014, Kate Hudson divulged that she and her mom, Goldie Hawn, "see dead people" with "a fifth energy."

Kesha

In 2012, Kesha told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show, that her song, "Supernatural," was about having sex with a ghost. "It's about experiences with the supernatural... but in a sexy way," she told Seacrest. "I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don't know his name! He was a ghost! I'm very open to it."

Emma Stone

Emma Stone, in a 2014 Appearance on Late Night With David Letterman, said that she's had ongoing beyond-the-grave interaction with her grandfather.

Selena Gomez

The "Bad Liar" singer also confessed to believing in ghosts during a 2015 appearance on The Tonight Show. She told host Jimmy Fallon, "I believe in ghosts, so I have a ghost app ... I believe that spirits can tap into technology. Why not, right?"
