Real Madrid vs. Real Betis: Where to Watch La Liga, TV Channel, Live Stream, Team News and Odds

Real Madrid will be looking to keep the pressure up on Barcelona when it hosts Real Betis on Saturday. Los Blancos returned to winning ways in La Liga with a thumping 5-0 win over bottom-of-the table Leganes on Wednesday and moved up to second place, one point behind their arch-rivals, who thrashed Valladolid 5-1 a day earlier.

With last week's El Clasico postponed due to political tension in Catalonia, by the time it faced Leganes on Wednesday Real hadn't played in La Liga since its unbeaten run had come to an end against Mallorca two weeks ago.

It took only eight minutes for the 13-time European Cup winners to get back on track, as goals from Rodrygo and Toni Kroos put Real 2-0 up, before Sergio Ramos extended the lead from the penalty spot.

Karim Benzema scored from the spot himself in the second half, before Luka Jovic came off the bench to score his first league goal since a big-money transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer.

Benzema''s goal took his tally to seven in La Liga this season and capped a remarkable performance in which he set up Rodrygo and Kroos for their goals.

The Frenchman has been directly involved in 10 goals this season, more than than any other player in La Liga and Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane heaped praise on the striker.

"Karim as always, doesn't change much," he said in his press conference. "It's important that he scores because he needs that as the number nine of Madrid. But he contributes much more than goals and does better for others. I am happy with his performance."

Los Blancos spent over $300 million on players this summer but none of Real's big signings have hit the ground running, due to a combination of injuries and poor form.

However, Zidane was pleased with Rodrygo and Jovic's contribution on Wednesday, suggesting he hoped the goals would help kickstart their careers at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"The truth is I am happy for both of them," Zidane added. "Rodrygo has personality and is getting better in the team. And Luka [Jovic] is happy because he needed that [goal] and, although he does not play much, it's important [to make an impact] when he has minutes replacing Karim [Benzema]."

Real has the chance of making three wins in three games in all competitions when it hosts Betis on Saturday.

Los Verdiblancos snapped a two-game losing streak with a win against Celta Vigo and arrive in the Spanish capital looking for a third consecutive away win over Real.
