Langrisser Mobile released just over a week ago, and so far it's been a hit with fans of Japanese turn-based strategy games. In the early stages, players will choose a class for their hero, which ultimately determines the playstyle and advantages or disadvantages the character will have in battle. While a hero's class consists of a couple of different elements (special class and accompanying troop) and can be customized via a special class or progression tree, this guide will focus on the four starting classes for hero Matthew and provide tips for how to get the one you want.

Langrisser Mobile Starting Classes: Which Is Best?

After going through a short tutorial and story segment at the beginning of Langrisser Mobile, you will be introduced to a goddess who will ask you a series of questions. The answers you give will determine which of the four starting classes you'll embody. The classes are as follows:

• Shadow / Assassin Class
• Bow Master / Archer Class
• Strike Master / Cavalry Class
• Dragon Master / Flying Class

While each class has its own special skills, we favor the Strike Master or Dragon Master as the best starting class due to their easy mobility. Movement can be of great importance on certain maps in the game.
