Monterrey vs. Necaxa: Where to Watch Liga MX, TV Channel, Live Stream and Odds

Vincent Janssen and Rogelio Funes Mori could start together for the first time when Monterrey hosts Necaxa this weekend.

After a disappointing spell with Tottenham Hotspur, the Dutch striker signed for Monterrey in July and has already found the net for his new club, despite coming off the bench in each of his four appearances so far.

On Saturday, however, Janssen could be handed his first start alongside Funes Mori, who currently averages a goal every second game.

Monterrey's season has been a rollercoaster so far, with four wins and as many losses in eight matches.

Despite the lack of consistency, Monterrey currently holds the final playoffs spot, albeit only by virtue of having a better goal difference than ninth-placed Pumas.

Coach Diego Alonso will be hoping Janssen and Funes Mori can provide the goals needed to propel his team up the table, as Monterrey has the joint-worst attacking record out of the top-eight teams.

The duo will have their job cut out against Necaxa, who has won three of the last four games and is unbeaten in the last 10 games in all competitions.

Guillermo Vazquez's men currently sit fourth in the table, three points adrift from league leaders Queretaro. They also have the best attacking record of any team currently holding a playoff berth.

Los Rayos, however, have won just once on the road so far this season, conceding six goals in three games.
