Lil Loaded Tributes Flood in After Death of 'Talented Rapper' Aged 20

Fans have paid tribute to "6locc 6a6y" rapper Lil Loaded, who has died aged 20.

The "Bag Talk" hitmaker, whose real name is Dashawn Robertson, reportedly took his own life.

The cause of death was confirmed by his lawyer Ashkan Mehryari. However, it has not yet been confirmed by a medical examiner.

Robertson shot to fame after his 2019 track "6locc 6a6y" went viral online. The song was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, a milestone the rapper shared with supporters in his final Instagram post.

"6LOCC 6A6Y Certified Gold," the captioned read. "Who runnin dis sh** like me young N**** S*** dopest fanbase on earth."

He also became known for hits "Gang Unit," which amassed 39 million views on YouTube and "Out My Body," which raked in over 10 million views.

Fans have now honored the star in a series of touching messages online.

Twitter user @Cxsper9 wrote: "RIP Lil Loaded such a talented rapper dying at such a young age.. RIP King #riplilloaded."

"I remember watching Tommy Craze's video and he came across 6locc 6a6y and that s*** was heat," @maquiete posted. "Started listening to your music and then you blew up and started popping off. RIP Lil Loaded. You were just getting started."

@btidss added: "I woke up and found out lil loaded died RIP to him and condolences to his family he had some really fire mixtapes."

Fan @veryrare_ns added that it was great to see the Dallas rapper "grow and become the artist you were."

Other fans of the rapper urged followers to check up on one another on the back of Robertson's death.

The news comes after Robertson was arrested on a murder charge in connection with the shooting of 18-year-old Khalil Walker, in 2020. However, he is reported to have been indicted on a lesser charge of manslaughter in February.

Dallas Morning News reported that the songwriter had a hearing scheduled on Tuesday.

His lawyer is believed to have told the publication that he did not believe Robertson was guilty of anything but that the indictment more accurately reflected the case.
