Maybe new mexico's new Republican Gov. Gary Johnson needs to get out more. He recently told reporters he felt unsafe in Santa Fe. "A car sunk down really low drove past me . . . very slowly," he said. "It had tinted windows." The people in the car "looked like gang kids." Get a grip, Gov. It sounds like you saw a lowrider. Johnson's remarks angered Hispanics. His spokesperson says the remarks were misinterpreted: the governor "appreciates New Mexico's art, on a wall or on the road."
