'Madden 20' Release Time: Early Access and When You Can Start Playing
It's Madden season once again, and fans of the annual football game are about to dive into the weekend with Madden NFL 20.
The premiere - and only - football game out there, Madden NFL 20 brings classic local and online gameplay with a few new features. In Madden NFL 20, a new mode called Face of the Franchise: QB1 puts players in the shoes of their quarterback as they try and become the next NFL superstar.
Create your own college quarterback to play though the National Championship game and participate in the NFL Combine to try and get drafted high in the NFL Draft. This is EA Sports' latest attempt at a campaign mode, and if it's successful then fans can probably expect other positions given the spotlight in future games.
If you're looking to get Madden NFL 20 early, you still have a chance to do so, but if you're wondering how and when you can play here's everything you need to know.
WHAT TIME CAN YOU DOWNLOAD MADDEN NFL 20
According to the official listing on the PlayStation Store, fans can start playing Madden NFL 20 at 12 a.m. EDT on Friday, August 2. Of course, this means that those on the west coast will be able to start playing as early as Thursday, August 1 at 9 p.m. PDT.
Of course, Xbox One and PC players will also be able to download and play Madden NFL 20 at midnight on Friday.
HOW TO PLAY MADDEN NFL 20 EARLY
EA games have become available to play early for subscribers of EA Access. The subscription service is allowing fans to download and play Madden NFL 20 right now for up to 10 hours. This trial began July 25 and finally launched on PlayStation 4 in July.

For PC gamers, Madden NFL 20 will be available early through Origin Access.
Gamers can also purchase the more expensive editions of Madden NFL 20 get early access. The Ultimate Superstar and Superstar editions unlock the game three days, allowing for players to get in the game on starting July 30.
