With Spring beginning and the evenings growing longer and brighter, the finale to another Premier League season draws closer. But few surprises await.

Manchester City's crown could be in place before the middle of April, such is their lead at the top of the table—16 points ahead of city rivals Manchester United and 18 ahead of Liverpool.

Those two, along with the other pursuers in the chasing pack, will not want another one-horse race again next season, and they will look to the transfer market to strengthen this summer.

Here, Newsweek guides you through all the news and rumors swirling around the Premier League on Monday morning (March 26):

Among the list of players Manchester United are interested in signing this summer is one of their rivals. According to the Daily Star, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is one of their targets, especially given his contract expires at the end of next season. They do, however, face competition from Juventus for the 27-year-old Welshman.

A new name on Jose Mourinho's wish list at Manchester United is Kieran Tierney. According to the Daily Record, the Old Trafford club is interested in signing the 20-year-old Scotland defender but is yet to make a formal approach.

Jurgen Klopp would break Liverpool's transfer record for the second time in two years if he signs Timo Werner from RB Leipzig in the summer. According to the Daily Star, the Merseyside club has a "serious interest" in the 22-year-old striker and plans to make an £87 million bid.

Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann has said he wants to play with France international teammate Paul Pogba but insists that does not mean he wants a move to Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.

Liverpool look set to lose German midfielder Emre Can this summer on a free unless they are able to meet his salary demands of £200,000-a-week, according to The Sun. Manchester City and Juventus are reportedly the clubs interested in signing him.

And finally, former Chelsea and Manchester City forward Scott Sinclair could be making a return south across the border after two years at Celtic. According to the Daily Mail, both Brighton and Bournemouth are interested in signing the 29-year-old.
