'The Masked Singer' Sneak Peek Shows Mushroom Sweep Judges Off Their Feet

The Masked Singer is back with another fresh episode of the Season 4 competition, and finally, fans and panelists Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger will get to hear from Group C.

Masked contestants Mushroom, Broccoli, Squiggly Monster, Lips and Jellyfish will hit the stage in their over-the-top costumes for the first time on Wednesday, and viewers should expect some particularly thrilling performances.

In the episode five sneak peek, Mushroom brings all the love with a sensual cover of Maxwell's "This Woman's Work" that quite literally sweeps the panelists off their feet. As the mysterious contestant belts out high and low notes, while walking gracefully across the stage with a sparkling red mushroom cap mask, Jeong catches his breath. "Wow," the panelist says.

Well, porto-HELLO to this talented singer. πŸ€―πŸ„

As sensational as Mushroom's voice sound, it doesn't offer many hints as to who could possibly be hiding under the avant-garde costume. Perhaps the panelists and virtual viewers will have a better time deciphering his identity once they get a look at his clue reel.

"Watch out for me because I'm bound to grow on you. There's only room for one mushroom at the top and that's going to be me," Mushroom says in a second episode 5 clip.

Lips is also bound to leave a lasting impression on the panelists. In one show clip, as she's sitting pretty on stage, she lets out a big note in a not-so-great key and then bursts into laughter. "You're like, 'I don't even care honey,'" Scherzinger joked.

Meanwhile, McCarthy thought Lips' touchy-feely behavior towards host Nick Cannon was a big hint at her true identity. "I think it's a huge clue that she's getting a little frisky with Nick," McCarthy said.

So far in the competition, two celebrities from both Group A and Group B have already been revealed.

Group B's Baby Alien got the boot back on the fourth week of the competition. Judges guessed celebs like Jason Biggs, Eric Bana, Nick Kroll and Jeff Dunham may have been hiding behind the mask but their suggestions couldn't have been more out of this world. It turned out to be NFL star Mark Sanchez posing as the extraterrestrial character.

Fellow Group B member Gremlin was also eliminated—well kind of. Mickey Rourke—the celebrity behind the Gremlin mask—actually revealed himself before Cannon got the chance to name him as the losing contestant.

"I want to take this off right now," Rourke said moments after performing a cover of Ben E. King's "Stand by Me."

Meanwhile, Group A contestants Dragon, who was actually Busta Rhymes, and Brian Austin Green's Giraffe have since said sayonara to the show.

The Masked Singer airs on Fox on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET.
