Maskless Woman on Plane Deliberately Coughs on Passengers: 'Everybody Dies'

An irate, maskless woman began spitting on fellow airline passengers and screaming "everybody dies" during a Sunday flight between Ireland and Scotland.

EasyJet confirmed that police were called to intervene Sunday evening after a passenger began screaming and spitting at others over her own refusal to wear a facial covering. Video recorded on Flight EZY481 between Belfast and Edinburgh showed the woman pacing up and down the plane aisle and repeatedly stating, "everybody dies, that's the only thing that's real."

The airline, like nearly all other carriers, confirmed to Newsweek they require masks for the duration of all flights and the disruptive passenger was arrested at Belfast International Airport.

Video of the Sunday evening incident shows the woman shouting at passengers and flight attendants alike, "I hope you f***ing die," before the plane took off. The woman, who is Scottish, was ultimately escorted off the plane by several flight attendants after she refused to wear a mask onboard.

"You need to get a life. Everybody dies, you know that? Every f**king body dies," the woman can be heard telling other passengers. "If it's corona[virus] or not, everybody dies. Everybody dies that's the only thing that's real."

After several passengers can be seen returning curse words at her, she storms up and down the aisles spitting and screaming in people's faces, prompting airline staff to immediately intervene.

"Off now, get off now," one flight attendant responded, causing the woman to turn to him and yell, "f**k off you bastard, I hope you f**king die."

EasyJet issued a statement regarding the incident Monday morning: "EasyJet can confirm that police attended flight EZY481 from Belfast to Edinburgh on 18th October due to a passenger behaving disruptively onboard and refusing to wear their face covering. In line with EASA guidelines, all passengers are currently required to bring their own face covering for their flight which must be worn during boarding and onboard, except when eating or drinking."

"Passengers receive clear communications before they travel and via announcements onboard to ensure they are aware of this requirement for the health and safety of everyone onboard. We will not tolerate disruptive behavior towards other passengers and crew,"

Belfast International Airport also released a statement, confirming that the woman was removed from the flight over her opposition to the coronavirus pandemic health precautions.

"Airport Police were called by ground staff due to a disruptive passenger within the terminal building at approx 4.35 pm on Sunday, October 18. The passenger was subsequently arrested and is currently under investigation," the statement said.
