Tiger On The Loose in Knoxville, Tennessee, Sparking Mass Police Hunt

A massive hunt is underway for a tiger on the loose in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The creature was spotted by a Knox County Sheriff's deputy roaming around the Forks of the River Industrial Park on Wednedsay night.

After raising the alarm, a team of specialists scrambled to the area and began scouring the estate for the creature.

The sheriff's patrol units have been joined by animal control, air watch, Knoxville Police Department's Animal Control Unit and Tiger Haven.

So far the team has been unable to locate the tiger and there have been no further sightings.

The Forks of the River Industrial Park is a sprawling estate covering 1,460 acres.
