Ohio McDonald's Manager Throws Blender at Customer After She Complained About Her Food Order

An Ohio McDonald's manager has been fired after throwing a blender at the face of a customer during an argument inside the fast-food establishment.

Brittany Price suffered a broken cheekbone and broken nose following the incident, which took place at a McDonald's near Ronald Reagan Highway in Colerain Township on September 22.

Price said the argument started when she came inside the store to complain about a mistake with her drive-thru order.

Surveillance footage, obtained by WLWT, shows Prince patiently waiting after complaining about her order while her four children stayed in the car. She said other customers were also affected by the argument she had with the staff.

"I wasn't the only one that got frustrated. You know, watching the video we see a lot of people that see me and her [the manager] talking, trying to resolve the issue and they're like, 'I'm not dealing with this.' They just left, they didn't even place their order."

Price can been see waiting for more than 20 minutes, before going back to her car to get her food and ask for a refund. She accused the McDonald's staff of "directly ignoring" her.

"So what choice do I have? I don't have to put up with this. So I went and got the food. I want my money back."

Price then starts to throw the bags of food towards the manager, before a blender from off-screen comes into shot and hits her in the face, sending her to the ground.

"I wanted to get some Happy Meals and some cheeseburgers and that was a very unhappy day for me," Price said.

When asked by WLWT whether she regrets throwing the food during the argument, Price replied: "I definitely don't feel like there would have been a different result. I feel like even if we would have just went verbal back and forth that it still would have escalated to something else."

A spokesperson for McDonald's said: "The safety of our customers and employees is of utmost importance to us. We are looking into this matter and will take the appropriate steps once our investigation is complete."

In a follow-up statement to WLWT, McDonald's management confirmed that the individual is no longer employed by the organization.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office said they have not filed any charges in relation to the incident.
