Did Anyone Win the $432 Mega Millions Jackpot on 9/21/2021? Numbers and Results

The results of the Mega Millions lottery game for September 21, offering a jackpot prize of $432 million, with a cash-value option of $315 million, were revealed on Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET.

The numbers drawn last night were 36, 41, 45, 51 and 56 for the white balls, while the yellow Mega Ball was 13 and the Megaplier was 3x.

The latest game saw one lucky jackpot winner, a ticket holder in New York who took home the top prize after correctly matching all the white balls as well as the Mega Ball.

The other big winner on Tuesday night was a player in Connecticut who matched all five white balls, winning the game's second prize, valued at $1 million. The winner did not purchase the Megaplier for an extra $1, which would have raised their prize to $3 million.

Twenty-five players matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, winning them each $10,000. Six of these winners bought the Megaplier, which won them each $30,000.

There were 565 ticket holders who matched four white balls, which earned them each $500, with 94 of them each earning the Megaplier prize of $1,500.

The game also saw 1,533 winners who matched three white balls, each winning $200, with 254 of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $600.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be on Friday, September 24, at 11 p.m. ET, for an estimated jackpot prize of $20 million, with a cash-value option of $14.5 million.

Last Friday's drawing had no grand prize winner but one player in New Jersey matched all the white balls, winning the game's second prize of $1 million.

Eighteen ticket holders matched four of the five white balls as well as the Mega Ball, which earned them the $10,000 third prize. One of these winners also opted for the Megaplier, raising their win to $30,000.

How to Play Mega Millions

Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, while one yellow Mega Ball is drawn from balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot prize, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing.

Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs an additional $1 per play and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn from a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.

The odds of winning with a $2 Mega Millions ticket are one in 303 million. See the Mega Millions website for more information.
