Mega Millions Numbers For 08/11/20: Tuesday Jackpot Was Worth $24 Million

The Mega Millions jackpot for 08/11/20 was worth $24 million, and here are the numbers from the Tuesday drawing.

Tuesday night's 08/11/20 jackpot was for $24 million, with a cash-value option of $19.7 million. The total jackpot could have increased depending on the number of tickets sold around the country prior to the drawing.

The winning numbers on Friday (08/07/20) for the $22 million jackpot were: 04-44-53-64-70 with a Mega Ball of 03. The Megaplier was 2x.

There was no grand prize winner from Friday's drawing, nor was there a ticket that matched the first five white balls, and minus the gold Mega Ball, for the game's second prize of $1 million.

There were six tickets sold nationwide on Friday that matched four of the five white balls and the Mega Ball for the $10,000 third prize. One of those purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1, which made their third-prize winnings worth $20,000.

The last grand prize jackpot winner was from a ticket sold in California for the 07/31/20 drawing of $22 million. It was the second-consecutive Friday with a Mega Millions jackpot winner because on 07/24/20, a ticket sold in New Jersey hit a $124 million jackpot. There have only been four Mega Millions jackpot winners this calendar year.

The previous Mega Millions grand prize winner before that was (06/09/20) for a $410 million jackpot. That winning ticket sold in Arizona was the 10th-largest Mega Millions jackpot in history.

The last grand prize winner before that was Tuesday 02/11/20 for $202 million with a ticket sold in New Jersey.

Other recent winners over the last year were a $372 million ticket sold in Ohio and a $227 million ticket that was sold on 09/24/19 in the city of Cedar Park, Texas—a suburb north of Austin.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery every Tuesday and Friday night, and it is one of America's two biggest lottery jackpot games. Mega Millions jackpots start at $20 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier.
