Mega Millions Numbers for 11/26/21: Did Anyone Win $94 Million?

The winning Mega Millions numbers for Friday were 7, 27, 37, 42, and 59, and the Mega Ball number was 2 while the Megaplier was 2X, according to the Mega Millions website.

There was a top prize of $94 million with a cash option of $67.5 million on offer. There were no winners of the top prize as no ticket matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball.

However, there was one big winner on the night, with a ticket bought in Michigan matching the five white balls. Because the Megaplier was played, for only an extra $1, the winner doubled their money.

There were also nine winners who matched four white balls and the Mega Ball. Three of them played the Megaplier to double their $10,000 prize.

Some 222 tickets matched four white balls to win $500, and 47 played the Megaplier to double their prize money.

Meanwhile, there were 606 tickets that matched three white balls and the Mega Ball to win $200, 128 of which benefited from the Megaplier. In total, the November 26 drawing produced over 368,000 winning tickets of at least $2.

The jackpot now grows to $102 million for Tuesday's drawing with a cash option of $73.3 million.

Although no one took the top prize this time, there have been no shortage of jackpot winners in 2021. A $1.05 billion prize was won by a group of Michigan players in January.

More recently, three family members from Lake Havasu City in Arizona won $75.2 million before taxes for their winning ticket last month. Despite their big win, the trio, who decided to remain anonymous, said they would continue playing the lottery.

Meanwhile, in September, a lucky ticket holder in New York won the jackpot in which $431 million was up for grabs.

How to play

One of the country's most popular lotteries, Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Fridays at 11 p.m. ET.

Five white balls are taken from balls numbered 1 through 70 and a yellow Mega Ball is drawn from a set numbered from 1 to 25.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play but for an extra dollar in most states, players can play the Megaplier option, which can increase non-jackpot prizes between two and five times.

If there is no winner of the jackpot, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing and when the jackpot is won, the top prize goes back to $20 million.

People can buy tickets in 45 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, they can not be bought in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah.
