Mega Millions Results, Numbers for 2/11/20: Did Anyone Win the $202 Million Jackpot on Tuesday (Last) Night?

The Mega Millions numbers for last (Tuesday) night were 4, 6, 32, 52, and 64, and the Mega Ball number was 6. The jackpot was an estimated $202 million with a cash option of $142.2 million, but did anyone win the jackpot?

A player from New Jersey matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball last night and won the jackpot. This is the first time the jackpot has been won since December 17, 2019, when The Great Hope Trust in Ohio won $375 million.

The jackpot for the next draw on Valentine's Day, February 14, has been reset and is now an estimated $40 million with a cash option of $28.1 million.

More than 680,000 people won prizes last night, including a player in West Virginia who matched five balls and won $1 million, and fourteen players who won $10,000 by matching four balls and the Mega Ball. Two of these winners doubled their prize to $20,000 by using the Megaplier, which was X2 in last night's draw.

Additionally, more than 300 players won $500 by matching four balls and 55 of these players used the Megaplier, doubling their prize to $1,000. More than a thousand players won $200 by matching three balls and the Mega Ball and more than 200 people doubled this to $400.

Hundreds of thousands of players won smaller prizes ranging from $2 for matching the Mega Ball to $20 for matching three balls and using the Megaplier.

How to play the Mega Millions lottery

The Megaplier can be added to a Mega Millions lottery ticket for $1 per play and it will multiply all prizes except for the jackpot by either X2, X3, X4, or X5. The Megaplier number is chosen randomly just before the drawing.

The Powerball lottery has something similar called a Power Play which multiplies all prizes except the jackpot by X2, X3, X4, X5, or X10. In the Powerball lottery, the $1 million prize is doubled to $2 million, regardless of the Power Play number.

The Mega Millions lottery draws take place every Tuesday and Friday and the Powerball lottery draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday. The Powerball jackpot on Wednesday night is an estimated $70 million with a cash option of $49.8 million.

To play the Mega Millions lottery, a player must purchase a ticket from a licensed lottery retailer and choose five numbers from one to 70 for the white balls and one number from one to 25 for the gold Mega Ball. A player can purchase a ticket up until the cut off time which is typically an hour or two before the drawing, though the deadline varies by jurisdiction.

The Mega Millions lottery can be played in 45 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The only states in which the lottery cannot be played are Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah.
