The Mega Millions jackpot was $192 million with a cash-value option of $129.3 million, but did anyone win the Mega Millions last night?

The winning Mega Millions numbers for last (Tuesday) night's draw were 22, 43, 44, 47, 66, and the Mega Ball was 22. The Megaplier was X3.

Nobody won the jackpot, so the estimated jackpot for Friday night's draw is $208 million with a cash option of $141.1 million. To win the jackpot a player must match all five balls and the Megaball.

The second-largest prize is $1 million which can be multiplied if a player chooses to play with the Multiplier. Last night, the $1 million prize would have been $3 million if played with the multiplier. To win this prize, a player must match all five balls, but nobody did in last night's draw.

However, twelve people won $10,000 each by matching four balls and the Megaball, and two people played with the multiplier so won $30,000 each. The next prize is $500 which is won by matching four balls, which 316 people did last night. Additionally, 43 people matched four balls and played with the multiplier, so they won $1,500 each.

How to play Mega Millions?

To play Mega Millions, players must purchase a $2 ticket from a licensed lottery retailer. Players then choose five numbers between 1 and 70 for the white balls and one number between 1 and 25 for the gold Mega Ball. The player can choose their numbers or have the numbers randomly chosen by the lottery terminal.

Players can choose to play Just the Jackpot, which costs $3 and provides the player with two entries to win only the jackpot. Or, for $1 more per play, players can add the Megaplier, which will multiply the prize by either two, three, four, or five times, and doesn't apply to the jackpot.

What are the odds of winning the lottery?

There are nine prize levels, from the jackpot down to $2. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350 and the odds of winning $2 are 1 in 37. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24, no matter how big the jackpot is or how many people play.

What happens when you win the lottery?

The jackpot starts at $40 million and if it is not won, it will be increased by a minimum of $5 million every draw. Jackpot winners can choose to claim their prize as an annuity, which will made up of one initial payment followed by 29 annual graduated payments. Or, they can choose to claim the jackpot as a cash option, which is of a lesser value but paid in one lump sum.
