Mega Millions Numbers, Results for 01/14/22: Did Anyone Win $325 Million Jackpot?
Mega Millions lottery for January 14 was offering a huge jackpot of $325 million, with a cash-value option of $224.2 but did anyone take the top prize?
The numbers drawn were 5, 8, 13, 22 and 48 for the white balls, while the yellow Mega Ball was 25, and the Megaplier was x2, according to the Mega Millions website.
Again, no one took home the biggest prize on offer, although there were three big winners who matched five white balls. Two of those tickets were bought in New Jersey and the other in Minnesota.
None of the three tickets had used Megaplier which cost an extra dollar, so did not get to double their money.

There were 32 winners of the $10,000 prize whose tickets matched four white balls and the Mega Ball. Ten of those tickets used the Megaplier to double their money.
Meanwhile, 809 tickets matched four white balls to win $500, with 181 of them playing the Megaplier. Some 1,693 tickets matched three white balls and the Mega Ball to win $200, with 336 of them doubling their payday with the Megaplier.
In total, the January 14 drawing produced over 859,000 winning tickets of at least $2. The jackpot now grows to $347 million on Tuesday in which there will be a cash option of $239 million.
So far this year there have been no winners of the jackpot, which has been rolling since it was won in Arizona on October 22. That was the final of six jackpots won in 2021, with top prizes ranging from $55 million to $1.05 billion
How To play
Mega Millions is one of the country's most popular lotteries with its drawings held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET.
Five white balls are taken from balls numbered 1 through 70 and a yellow Mega Ball is drawn from a set numbered from 1 to 25.
Tickets cost $2 per play and for an extra dollar in most states, there is the Megaplier option, which can increase non-jackpot prizes between two and five times.
If there is no jackpot winner, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing. Once the jackpot is won, the top prize is reset to $20 million.
Tickets are available in 45 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, they can not be bought in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah.
The odds of winning with a $2 Mega Millions ticket are one in 303 million. See the Mega Millions website for more information.
