Mega Millions Results, Numbers for 03/31/21: Did Anyone Win the $152 Million?

The winning numbers in Tuesday's Mega Millions draw were 11, 37, 47, 53, and 56, and the Mega Ball was 15. The jackpot was an estimated $152 million with a cash option of $101.9 million, but did anyone win the lottery?

Nobody won the lottery so the jackpot will roll over to Friday night's draw where it will be worth an estimated $168 million with a cash option of $112.1 million.

Although nobody won the jackpot, one player from North Carolina won $1 million by matching all five numbers but missing out on the Mega Ball, and one player from North Dakota did the same but using the Megaplier, winning $3 million because the Megaplier was X3 last night.

The Megaplier can be purchased for an additional $1 per play, on top of the Mega Millions tickets which cost $2 per play.

Fifteen players won $10,000 by matching four winning numbers and the Mega Ball with four players using the Megaplier and winning $30,000 each.

More than 300 players won $500 in last night's draw by matching four numbers and 65 players used the Megaplier to win $1,500. More than 900 players matched three numbers and the Mega Ball and won $200 each with more than 150 using the Megaplier to win $600 each.

Additionally, more than 41,000 players won $10 each by matching either three numbers or two numbers and the Mega Ball, with more than 8,000 players winning $30 using the Megaplier.

More than 150,000 players won $4 by matching one number and the Mega Ball and more than 30,000 players used the Megaplier to win $12. Finally, more than 375,0000 players won $2 by matching only the Mega Ball, and more than 75,000 used the Megaplier to win $6.

On Tuesday, Mega Millions announced that a couple from Blossvale, New York, Leonard, and Lorraine Padavan, won February 16's $96 million jackpot. The winning numbers from the drawing were 1, 26, 44, 54, and 66, and the Mega Ball was 10.

The couple chose to split the jackpot evenly and they each received a lump-sum payment of $23,016,702 after required withholdings. They said that they will use the money to buy an RV and live out their dreams. Leonard said his best advice to other Lottery players is, "take a chance."

For the chance to win the jackpot like the Padavans, purchase a ticket for $2 from a licensed lottery retailer before Friday night's draw. The deadline varies by jurisdiction but sales cut-off times are generally an hour or two before the drawing.

The Mega Millions drawing will take place at 11 p.m. ET on Friday.

The estimated jackpot for Friday's draw is $168 million with a cash option of $112.1 million. If the jackpot is won, the winner will have the option of claiming the $168 million as an annuity made up of 30 graduated payments over 29 years or a cash option of $112.1 million which will be paid as one lump-sum.
