Did Anyone Win the $63 Mega Millions Jackpot on 11/16/2021? Numbers and Results

The results of the Mega Millions lottery game for November 16, offering a jackpot prize of $63 million, with a cash-value option of $44.5 million, were revealed on Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET.

The latest numbers drawn were 6, 22, 44, 53 and 65 for the white balls, while the yellow Mega Ball was 3 and the Megaplier was 3x.

There were winners of the top jackpot prize or second prize, valued at $1 million. The second prize winning would have been worth $3 million had there been any winners who purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1.

Thirteen ticket holders correctly matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, winning them each $10,000. Four of the winners bought the Megaplier, which tripled their third prize earning to $30,000.

There were also 201 players who matched four of the five white balls, but not the Mega Ball, each earning $500, with 46 of them each bagging the Megaplier prize of $1,500.

A group of 528 ticket holders matched three white balls, each winning $200, with 111 of them each winning the Megaplier prize of $600.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be on Friday, November 19, at 11 p.m. ET, for a jackpot prize of $74 million, with a cash-value option of $52.3 million.

Last Friday's draw also had no grand prize winner but a player in California matched the first five white balls, but not the gold Mega Ball, earning the second prize of $1 million. Their second prize win would have been worth $2 million had they purchased the Megaplier.

Nine ticket holders matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, which won them each the $10,000 third prize, two of whom purchased the Megaplier, raising each of their third prize winnings to $20,000.

How to Play Mega Millions

Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, while one yellow Mega Ball is drawn from balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot prize, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing.

Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs an additional $1 per play and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn from a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.

The odds of winning with a $2 Mega Millions ticket are one in 303 million. See the Mega Millions website for more information.
