It's the question on every royal wedding watcher's mind: What will Meghan Markle wear when she marries Prince Harry this spring?
Markle is expected to wear a white gown down the aisle, like most brides, when she ties the knot with Prince Harry on May 19. However, it's unclear if Markle will subscribe to royal wedding code and wear a tiara, or if she will go tiara-less, a popular trend among American brides.
If Markle were to crown her head with a tiara, the former Suits actress has some options—and they come straight from the royal vault.

Markle could follow in Kate Middleton's steps and wear the Cartier Halo Tiara. The tiara was originally created by George VI in 1963 and commissioned by Cartier. It was gifted to Queen Elizabeth II on her 18th birthday, and she subsequently lent the tiara to Princess Margaret and Princess Anne. Then in 2011, Middleton was given the heirloom to wear for her wedding to Prince William.
Another family staple Markle may consider is the Cambridge Lover's Knot. Also donned by Middleton, the tiara was created for Queen Mary by Garrad and then passed on to Queen Elizabeth. Harry's late mother, Princess Diana, was also particularly fond of the tiara, which was loaned to her from Elizabeth II as a wedding present.
Speaking of Diana, Markle could say "I do" to Harry while wearing the famous Spencer Tiara, which was the 18th-century family heirloom his mother wore on her wedding day to Prince Charles in 1981. She chose that over the Cambridge Lover's Knot.
Harry started to incorporate his mother's legacy into his wedding when he presented Markle with a three-stone engagement ring which included two diamonds from Diana's personal collection. Markle could potentially wear the Spencer Tiara to show further reverence for Harry's mother, though Diana's tiara is still owned by the Spencer family.
Eva Hartling, vice president of Markle's favorite jewelry brand Maison Birks, told People magazine on Monday the soon-to-be royal would likely choose a "refined and elegant" wedding look that is "true to her style."
Markle has purchased around $20,000 of the Canadian jewelry brand since she was introduced to it years ago by a friend, according to Hartling. And while it's likely she'll borrow a tiara from the royal vault—if she chooses to wear one—Hartling said Birks would be more than thrilled to see Markle sport one of their tiaras on her wedding day. "We would be very happy if she chose to wear Birks and we know she has some nice pieces, so we will have to wait and see!"
