The documents, which have been verified by Newsweek, reveal that Melania Trump pulled in over $237,000 for one speaking engagement in April 2024. The event was an address to Log Cabin Republicans in Palm Beach, Florida. The group describes itself as an organization for "LGBT conservatives and our straight allies."
Melania Trump hosted a second fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans at Trump Tower in July 2024. Meanwhile, the Trump National Golf Club in Lamington, New Jersey, drew in "golf related revenue" of over $37 million.
The disclosure also revealed Donald Trump owes more than $100 million in liabilities. These are regarding his legal troubles in New York.
Both the judgments against Donald Trump in the two civil lawsuits brought against him by E. Jean Carroll are listed in the disclosure.
For the first, which found Donald Trump liable for defaming and abusing the columnist, up to $5 million in liabilities is listed.
For the second civil lawsuit, where a jury found Trump liable for harming the writer's professional reputation, $50 million is listed in liabilities.
