Attorney Michael Avenatti blasted Senior Advisor Stephen Miller for having "sold" President Donald Trump on his "fascist" immigration policy that has separated thousands of children from their parents at the border.

The lawyer representing pornstar Stormy Daniels took to Twitter Sunday to offer his representation of any parent who was separated from their child at the U.S. border. Avenatti tweeted out the Spanish word "Basta," meaning roughly "enough" or "stop it" in English, as he ridiculed Miller's callous and self-congratulating defense of Donald Trump's immigration policy in a New York Times report.

"If anyone knows of a parent that has had their child taken from them at the border and not returned, please have them contact me as I am entering this fight. This outrageous conduct must be brought to an immediate end. #Basta," Avenatti tweeted Sunday, following an appearance on MSNBC's "AM Joy."

"Stephen Miller: Congrats, the separation policy that you sold to your boss Mr. Trump will result in images that will crater you both. We will ensure you will never escape them. In your fascist zeal, you forgot that mothers are mothers first, regardless of their politics. #Basta," Avenatti also tweeted Sunday. The California-based attorney and Trump nemesis was responding to an interview that Miller gave to the New York Times this weekend. Miller defended the separation of children from their families as a "simple decision" after an April spike in attempte border crossings.

"No nation can have the policy that whole classes of people are immune from immigration law or enforcement," Miller told the Times. "It was a simple decision by the administration to have a zero tolerance policy for illegal entry, period. The message is that no one is exempt from immigration law."

The immigration hard-liner was identified by the Times in May as being part of a "zero tolerance" sect of White House aides who have been intentionally "cruel." On Saturday, Avenatti retweeted the New York Daily News cover showing a young girl crying with the blaring headline, "Callous. Soulless. Craven. Trump."
