Hong Kong Disneyland has just the thing for the child at heart with grown-up spending power: an exclusive luxury line of character-themed and bejeweled baubles. The folks behind the most recent outpost of the Magic Kingdom teamed up with Hong Kong jewelers Chow Sang Sang to open the permanent Midtown Jewelry store on the grounds of the theme park. The popular boutique--which is the first of its kind in any Disney theme park--caters to the Chinese love of gold and precious stones, two of the top purchases by mainland tourists visiting the territory. The collection includes such gems as a large diamond-encrusted Mickey pendant ($10,000), a limited-edition commemorative Disney medallion ($1,280) and a Minnie Mouse figurine ($350)--all in pure gold. The jewel in the crown of this over-the-top souvenir shop is the chessboard-size replica of Sleeping Beauty's castle, also made out of solid gold, which goes for a king's ransom: about $74,000.
