After more than one year of waiting Modern Love season two has got a release date and it is a lot sooner than you might think.

Season two of Modern Love will premiere on Friday, August 13, on Amazon Prime worldwide.

Just like season one, there are eight episodes in the new series, which are about 30 minutes long.

All eight episodes will drop in one go on Friday, which means you can binge your way through the show all at once if you want.

Who stars in 'Modern Love' Season 2?

Up-and-coming actress Grace Wilson and The Gloria's star Lulu Wilson star in "Am I Gay or Straight? Maybe This Fun Quiz Game Will Tell Me"," whilst True Blood's Anna Paquin and Triple Frontier's Garrett Hedlund take the lead in "In the Waiting Room of Estranged Spouses."

Will and Grace's Minnie Driver and Mank star Tom Burke will lead episode seven and Ratched's Sophie Okonedo and The Crown's Tobias Menzies star in the final episode of Modern Love.
