In a viral TikTok video, a dog owner from Arizona shared her pup's reaction to getting a whole new yard all to herself, and internet users can't cope with the heartwarming footage.
The clip, shared in March under the username @rdnacc, shows the pup, Korra, walking out to the porch of her new home, leading to a huge garden, the first one that she has ever seen. As Korra realizes that this is now her new home, she starts running around, wagging her tail, as if she is having the best day of her entire life.
"That moment when I finally gave my apartment dog a backyard," reads layover text in the clip. And a caption says: "She was patient with me all these years."

It is a common assumption that big dogs aren't suited for apartment living. However, according to a Vet Street article by Dr. Marty Becker, any canine can live a happy life almost anywhere, as long as their owners are committed to ensuring they get enough exercise throughout the day.
In an article medically reviewed by Dr. Luqman Javed, Dogster says that, before getting a pup, you should always check your lease to ensure they aren't banned. However, the article adds that exceptions are often allowed for service or emotional support dogs.
It is also important that you choose the right breed and make sure the apartment is dog-safe before taking them home. With a good routine, consistent training, and plenty of exercise, dogs can thrive no matter the size of their home.
Soundproofing your apartment and crate-training your pup will help your dog bark less and avoid complaints from angry neighbors. If you are out a lot, then you should also consider hiring a dog walker to prevent boredom.
