Mortal Kombat 11 Features

Every fighter has three costume pieces that can be customized. For example, Scorpion's mask, spear and katana all have different looks based on what items players equip. These items can also be augmented, but augmentations weren't discussed during the stream. Players can also customize entrances and other cosmetic traits for each fighter on the roster.

The horizontal meter on the bottom of the screen during gameplay is the offensive meter. The vertical meter is for defensive attacks. Fatal Blow appears when a players drops below 30 percent health. If you miss your Fatal Blow attack, it will regenerate after a cool-down period.

There's a new Flawless Block feature that uses a portion of your defense meter. A Flawless Block is a perfectly-timed block that opens an opponent up to counter attacks.

There are 17 stages on the stage select screen.
