Natalie Cole, R&B singer and daughter of Nat King Cole, died Thursday at the age of 65, according to TMZ. The cause of death is being reported as congestive heart failure, possibly stemming from complications arising from contracting Hepatitis C and a kidney transplant she recieved in 2009.
Cole was known for her ubiquitious 1975 hit "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)," 1977's "Sophisticated Lady" and 1991's Grammy-winning "Unforgettable," which she performed as a virtual duet with her father, who died in 1965. She sold over 30 million records and won nine Grammys over the course of a career that spanned more than 40 years.

After news of her death broke, several celebrities took to Twitter to express their condolences.
