National Hot Dog Day 2021 Deals at Nathan's Famous, 7-Eleven and Others

Wednesday, July 21, is National Hot Dog Day—the centerpiece of National Hot Dog Month and a celebration of "one of America's favorite foods," according to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council.

Various venues are offering discounts. Here we look at some of the best National Hot Dog Day deals.

Nathan's Famous

According to the Nathan's Famous Facebook and Twitter accounts, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time on July 21, hot dogs will be available for 5 cents each at participating locations.

The chain, which has been operating since 1916, is also giving away free hot dogs and merchandise from its cart, which will be at the Rockefeller Center in New York City on July 21 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., for an appearance on the Fox & Friends program.

7-Eleven

The convenience store chain is offering its Quarter-Pound Big Bite hot dog for $1 at select venues, the company said in a statement on Monday.

The offer will be available throughout the month "because July is National Hot Dog Month and when 7-Eleven stores sell the most hot dogs," it added.

7-Eleven is also offering a coupon for a free Slurpee drink through July 31, which is available through the 7Rewards loyalty program on the chain's app.

Robin Murphy, the company's fresh food product director, said: "Big Bite hot dogs and Slurpee drinks are American icons, and while they're enjoyed year-round, summertime is their time to shine."

According to the statement, 7-Eleven sells more than 100 million hot dogs each year.

The American hot dog chain is offering five chili hot dogs for $5 (plus tax) on July 21 at participating venues.

The offer is for "Original Chili Dogs only." No substitutions are allowed and cheese costs extra. Customers must buy multiples of five to get the sale price.
