Newsweek has retracted its story that the Black Lives Matter movement called the NRA a "terrorist organization" on Twitter. The story cited a Twitter account that was not associated with the official Black Lives Matter movement.

The mistake was revealed when a representative for the Black Lives Matter Global Network reached out to a Newsweek reporter.

Newsweek regrets the error.
