As is fairly traditional with these ratings overhuls, the biggest beneficiaries hover towards the middle of the pack. New York NBA fans will likely love that both Brooklyn Net Rodions Kurucs and Knicks Luke Kornet get two of the biggest buffs of the month with four and seven-point swings respectively. Danuel House of the Rockets and Derrick White of the Spurs are also worth discussing as well. These players have enjoyed a handful of high-scoring games over the past few weeks, so it’s great to see that performance reflected in-game.

On the higher end of the spectrum, some might say that recent high-quality play from Karl Anthony-Towns and Paul George warrants a bigger boost than what’s currently on the table, but things could be worse. In many ways, these ratings lists are a study of what NBA fans, and 2K19’s developers, expect. Ambitions were high for both players heading into the year, and there have been momentary periods of slump. This ratings update won’t drastically change what players know about NBA 2K19, but it’s nice to know 2K continues to keep up to date with the latest official stats.

NBA 2K19 is available now on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC.
