'NBA 2K20' Release Time - When Can You Download the PS4, Xbox, Switch Game?
NBA 2K20 is almost here, and we've got all the hot pre-release details you want to know. Find out what time your download will be available, the status of preloads and read a quick rundown of all three editions below.
What time does the NBA 2K20 download release?

According to the NBA 2K20 PlayStation Store pages, NBA 2K20 is expected to go live around 12 a.m. EDT September 6. That means those on the West Coast can start playing September 5 at 9 p.m. PDT. For those playing internationally, the game releases at 12 a.m. local time September 6.
What about NBA 2K20 preloads?
Preloading for NBA 2K20 has begun across all platforms and requires approximately 74GBs of space on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. When you preload, it's possible to start playing as soon as the above-listed release time approaches. Make sure you've got an empty hard drive then follow these steps.
Note that this procedure may vary slightly depending on the edition of the game you've pre-ordered. Instead of looking for just NBA 2K20 in your library, for example, the game may be listed as NBA 2K20 Digital Deluxe or NBA 2K20 Legend Edition.
- Go to the NBA 2K20 store page for your edition of the game on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam or Microsoft Store and you should be given the option to download it.
- On PS4 scroll over to Library and select NBA 2K20. The option to download should be there as well.
- On Xbox One, NBA 2K20 should show up in the "ready to install" section of Games & Apps.
- On Switch NBA 2K20 should also be listed in your games library too. Select it and the download will begin.
Preloads sometimes begin automatically, but the above steps work in cases where that doesn't happen.
